Language rules

Official

Published by Epic

We use “official” only for an Epic-controlled source or live client text.

Reported

Attributed evidence

Credible secondary coverage that has not been publicly confirmed by Epic.

Unconfirmed

Insufficient evidence

Repeated claims without a primary source or reproducible dataset.

Update and correction process

Material pages display a fact-check date. When a new source changes a claim, we update the statement, its status label, the structured data and the source register. We do not silently preserve an attractive statistic after its evidence fails.

Independence and trademarks

This is an independent fan guide. It is not affiliated with Epic Games and does not use official art as site branding. Fortnite and related marks belong to their respective owners.
